PLEASE! CAREFULLY READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTE FOR TAPES AND DVD:

Be aware of the different Regions and recording Formats. UK tapes and DVD are PAL format - and DVD discs are Region 2, which means that, PAL TAPES ARE ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH UK VIDEO SYSTEMS AND REGION 2 DVD DISCS ARE ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH EUROPEAN PLAYERS -- THEY WILL NOT WORK IN US EQUIPMENT. Unless you have a system that will enable you too, you will not be able to view those medias in North American machines, which use NTSC recording format, and Region 1 for DVD discs. The same is true the other way around.

After Region 1, the Region 2 DVD set of Fireball XL5 is now available for European fans on October 20, 2003. As reported in earlier announcements, the series is not colorized (a shame), and there will be no extras featured on the discs, contrary to the Region 1 set. The good news, however is the low price of this set! If you want you have the possibility of pre-ordering the set at Amazon.co.uk. It will be sent to you on the release date.

REGION 1 DVD SET

Available for Region 1 (North America - USA & Canada), FIREBALL XL-5 features the galactic adventures of the dashing Colonel Steve Zodiac, of the World Space Patrol, pilot of the FIREBALL XL-5 rocket, and of his crew! Filmed in Supermarionation, this series was created in 1965, by Gerry Anderson, this series is presented here, in glorious black and white, by A&E Entertainment - who brought to North America the DVD sets of "Thunderbirds", "Stingray", "Space: 1999", "U.F.O" - which is yet to be complete - and of course "Captain Scarlet & the Mysterons".

In preparation from Misc!MAYHEM - who are already publishing the "Supercar" comics series - Fireball XL-5 will be a seven parts (0 to 6) mini-series, telling "the story of how a brash young lieutenant named Steve Zodiac first meets the lovely Dr. Venus, and fulfills his destiny to become the commander of the fabulous FIREBALL XL5." You can say from the artwork shown here that this comic will be nothing short than fabulous!
The mini-series will be available soon, at your local comic store, at the Star Trader online store or, for U.S. directly through SHOPPE MAYHEM!, Misc!MAYHEM online store.

UPDATE: JULY 13, 2003

Those of you interested in the "U.F.O.", "Fireball XL-5" and "Supercar" comics by Misc!MAYHEM may be wondering what is presently going on with those titles, which had not appeared as they were announced - So far, only Number 0 of "Supercar" has been published. Don't despair, people! You'll be happy to know that neither title has been cancelled. "Fireball XL5" and "Supercar" are presently being repackaged in a 48-page book called "SUPERMARIONATION ADVENTURES", while UFO is still planned as a stand-alone series.
