Not entirely sure why, but a group of people (in war time)... they're friends, they help each other... and save other peoples lives... and the enemy does (sometimes) get their hands on/use their machinery/weaponry

Edit: a few hours ago I'd realised that I suggested the TV version... so, since this is 'Movie Connections', I'll say MASH (the movie version)
that's madness with a little 'm'... as in 'crazy'...

Sorry if I messed the order up, Sage, I was going by the episode guide on the site. 101 followed Renegade Rocket...so it seemed anyway on the guide.

mainly on account of the satellite dish, exploding rocket and exploding satellite dish. I really need to re-watch the OCS.

Actually every time I see this episode I think of Hunt for Red October!
In Red October there is the scene of (forgot his name - i am horibble with names) being lowered down in stormy seas to the submarine. he is getting blown everywehre, the sub is rising and falling and crashing around in the waves, the water is deathly cold, they can't make it! so (name?) releases himself from the harness into the icy cold water needing to be rescued while Scott Glenn wonders WHO the f- this is.
Now, compare that to
White is lowered on LOOP he is holding onto with his hands, the hellicopter hovers beautifully the sub sits serenly in the quiet water and White touches down on the deck without a hitch.
There isn't any other scene in the entire series that I made an instant association with. but I think this one is priceless.

hopefully it can go here.
Who has seen teh movie Virus? Its about a ship that gets taken over by an electricty based alien from outer space. It is a very gross, gory, icky movie so don't watch it if you don't have a strong stomach but I found it very tense and rivetting despite the gore.
ok Proteus didn't have any gore, but it did have the ship being taken over.
It even ends the same way, our heros ejecting out (ok,Scarlet jumps) and the ship going KABLOOOEY!
Virus has sort of a cutesy moment at the end, I really don't remember exactly what then end scene is, and Proteus has a very cheesy scene at the end so they are even sort of alike that way.
