And what a pleasant surprise it was! Thanks for not giving it away, guys.
I just want to commend the writers, directors, prouducers etc. of the final half of series 2 for a job well done. The episodes were fantastic. it would be a shame if these become NCS's swansong rather than a promise of things to come.

Didn't have time to watch the episodes, last evening (only popped the first disc into my region-free player to see it it worked) but I didn't see any extras listed on the boxset...
The discs say 5.1 surround sound, and English subtitles. There is the same menu layout as for the first set, but they didn't follow the thread started on the first discs for the artwork on the discs (which featured each of the characters on each disc). The second set only features two different artworks of Scarlet, each appearing on two discs on a simple background (or a different colour for each disc, though).

Isn't it GREAT to have a Region-Free DVD player, KP!?

Yes! It's on as the last episode!
(I know someone else has answered this, but I'm using it as an excuse to rant.)
This really is the last insult. Dominion is so obviously the series finale.

Yup, I can't think of anything else either. It got to the screen, that's about it.
Just ordered my boxset of series 2.
Chris - at least you'll have seen a decent version of Shapeshifter now, rather than a dodgy video version!
Just been reading the comments about Greyskulls - unbelievable. Those responsible are a bunch of complete twats.

The plus side is we do get the episodes that we wanted, extras would have been nice, suppose it would have been brilliant to get more info, pics and other extras, wonder what GA thinks of this release?
ITV messed up a great franchise but at least we got the basic series for future viewing. We may never see another CS series through their handling of this.

Presumably, this is because of a) the price - £25.97 and b) the repeats being shown on CITV at 7.25am every week day.
I wonder how high it will go..
