Thanks for your reply, Chris.

I have at last been able to speak to somebody at Carinabox and he tells me that he is getting a batch of New Captain Scarlet vehicles in next week which he will use to fulfil any existing preorders.

However, he says that these models and some other TV items have been pulled from the Website because Carinabox won't be selling them in future.

When I specifically asked about the forthcoming NCS models, such as the Cheetah RRV, he said that they would not be stocking these at all. :cry:

Living in the US I have been having a little trouble finding the latest NCS merch but in the case of the Rhino - I found it available on Ebay. I guess the Cheetah is not out yet as I have yet to see it on Ebay. I placed a pre-order to Forbidden Planet with no sign of it coming.

Star Trader does have the latest Bandai action figures and vehicle sets (the three pack ones) and so my guess is they will get the Cheetah as well - prices are okay.

For your information, I have just received a long email from Carinabox saying that they are completely repositioning their sales strategy and will only concentrate on high value, high quality products and that they will not fulfil any outstanding orders. Here is the most important paragraph:

Therefore we felt we must contact each customer directly prior to us making an announcement via our mailing list to inform you that as of today, the models that are currently outstanding on your order will no longer be fulfilled. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you, but a clean break must be made to enable us to move on. Please note that no funds have been taken from your card and will not be taken. Any promotional discounts that you are entitled to will be credited back to you before we cancel the order completely.

I will probably order my models direct from Corgi from now on unless anyone can recommend a better provider.

I notice that there is a nice Captain Scarlet page on the Corgi website now. Both the Angel Interceptor and the White Falcon fighter jets are described as being limited edition.

I have ordered the SPV, Rhino, Cheetah and White Falcon although I am not sure if the latter two are available at this moment in time or if we will have to wait until June.

Picked up the Corgi Cheetah in the local toy shop on Saturday. for £9.99. 113mm long (just under 4 and a half inches). Wings and tail spolier pop out when you press the front down.

I've noticed a few have now appeared on ebay.

It's a nice diecast model/toy. In my opinion it's better than the large Bandai plastic toy. It would have been nice if it had been just a little larger. As these are likely to be the only toys produced from the series (unless the Japanese take it to their hearts) I'd go for it.

Just the Corgi Falcon and Angel to wait for now, due mid June I understand. My only concern with these is that I think they're going to be a little on the small side - around 5 or 5 and a half inches long for the £9.99 price. 6 or 7 inches would have made my day. Still I'll grab a few.

Latest issue of SFX has a mini-review of the Corgi Angel and Falcon, plus the Product Enterpise Gay Ellis for UFO fans.
They're not out just yet but the Angel is quoted at 16cm long (6.3 inches), the Falcon is 13.5 cm (5.3 inches). Pictures shown are of the prototypes.

I have ordered my NCS die-casts direct from Corgi but am still waiting for the White Falcon. I just spoke to Corgi and they say that the White Falcon has been delayed but should be available on 31st July.

Darn it. Comet Miniatures have just updated their website with this news now. Both the White Falcon and Angel won't be out until the end of July. Was hoping to at least get a couple of Angels this weekend. Ah well at least the series 2 DVD will be out in September too. I wonder if the Japanese will bring out anything when the series gets there.

Hi, Corgi are having a stand at the Fanderson convention, 7-8 October. All of the NCS stuff will be available their. They`re also auctioning some prototypes to raise money for the convention charity. Chris
