Hi All,

Those of you who are collecting New Captain Scarlet merchandise will
probably want to look out for issue 8 of SKILLZ magazine which goes on sale
next week (March 5th).

The magazine itself is about computer gaming and probably wouldn't be of any
interest except that one of the free gifts with issue 8 is a New Captain
Scarlet rubber keyring. The advertised free gift is a silver 'mystery bag'
and readers won't know what's inside until they open the bag, but what
you'll actually get is the Scarlet keyring and three badges.

The keyring was manufactured as the intended free gift with issue 7 of the
New Captain Scarlet comic, which was cancelled after issue 6.

Probably not. There was a computer game in the works (what was the studio's name? Batfish?) but it was never released. I don't know why not, from the stills and snippets from Batfish portfolios it looked like it would have been wicked fun!

oh, yea that game - I thought that any renewed interest would get that game back on track again - too bad, it did look good.
