Pictures of NCS Corgi diecasts
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
I've scanned the picture here.
I think they look great though there is no cockpit detail on the Angel and Falcon - just painted canopies.
What do you think?

Actually, none too shabby! Not sure about the sizes though. With painted windows, anything Dinky size is going to look strange. The 90s Interceptor had a painted cockpit but that was small scale, so it wasn't as noticable. Good find, Yorkie, nonetheless!

They are almost certainly prototype shots, so there is a possibility that we may get clear canopies on the final production versions of the Angel Interceptor and White Falcon.
I also hope that the Rhino gets a colour change before it is released.
Definitely buying two each of the NCS and one each of the OCS vehicles.

I can't wait for the White Falcon, may buy a whole squadron

Heh, an Albatrose would be nice to carry around the Rhino. Be a pretty big toy though.

Page 48 shows the SPV and the Rhino and I am very happy to say that the Rhino is the correct metallic grey rather than the rather sickly light blue we have seen (Phew!). There is a Captain Scarlet figure in each of the vehicles. Release date Feb-06 but I cannot see a price.
Page 49 has the SSC and RRV - the latter has pressure activated side wings and rear spoiler and looks great. There is a Captain Scarlet character inside each of the vehicles who can be seen through the clear 'glass' windows. Release date Mar-06.
Page 50 has the Angel Interceptor and the Falcon. I am not really into aviation but the release date for these is June-06. There is apparently a fixed, seated Destiny in each jet and so the windows must be see through - the blue tint makes it difficult to see in the pictures.
These vehicles can all be bought separately or in packs combining one OCS and one NCS. Thus, there is a combined SPV/Rhino pack, a combined SSC/RRV pack and a combined Angel/Falcon set.
I was originally planning to only get the SPV and Cheetah RRV but now I am seriously thinking of the others too!

Any chance of you posting a scan of the Captain Scarlet pages?

I haven't got any scanning equipment but have just taken some photographs using a basic digital camera.
When I get home from work tonight, I can use my son's PC to copy the pictures onto his hard-drive and then he can email them to my office for tomorrow morning.
I will then email the pictures to Chris so that he can decide for himself whether or not it is appropriate for them to appear on this forum.
