Avatars

If you have trouble uploading your avatar, just contact the administrator using one of the following e-mail addresses. I'll correct the situation for you.

Be sure to send your avatar as well in either jpg or gif format.

Seems many people still have trouble with the their avatar. Still don't know what the problem is, but many members seem to have trouble uploading their personalised avatar onto the forum space in order to use them afterwards. Instead of their avatar, a red X will appear. If you have such trouble, don't hesitate to contact the forum administration, with your chosen avatar, and I'll make sure to put the said avatar online as soon as possible. I may have to reduce it in order to do so, though.

On another subject: I'm looking for captain scarlet (classic or new) related avatars in order to create a new gallery to offer to members. If you had created avatars that you would like to share with others, feel free to contact me, and I'll put them on the forum.

I have a load of 80 x 80 avatars - all Anderson related - which I created for another forum. Some are animated. You're welcome to have them for this forum.

Is it best I email them to you, Chris?

Edit - got home and checked, and they vary from 80 x 80, to 125 x 125. Most, I think, are 100 x 100, and are about 4kb to 12kb in size.

The avatars offered by Shaqui are now available on the forum. Members can view them by signing in and then by selecting the 'profile' link in the menu above. Then go at the very bottom of your profile page and click the 'Gallery' button.

The new avatars can be found in three new folders:

- 'Skybase_Spectrum',
- 'Cloudbase_Spectrum'
- 'Various_Anderson'.

They are unfortunatly a bit big (well over 6KB) but all look good. So it might be possible to tweak them down to size.
