R.I.P Keryn a.k.a. Elentari
Moderators: chrisbishop, Spectrum Strike Force
She’s been a collaborator of Spectrum HQ, a fanfic writer and an active member of our forum since 2004 until very recently.
Even though so far away, she was one of us and we will miss her.
On behalf of the Scarletinis from Spectrum HQ, I want to offer my deepest sympathies to Keryn’s friends and family.

Keryn/Elentari wrote some wonderful stories for the SHQ fanfiction website, full of wit and charm. Her forum posts were always guaranteed to bring a smile to my face. I'm so very sad that's she's no longer with us, and echo your kind words.

Under her own name, she wrote some amazing fan fiction which certainly inspired me and I’m sure many others. Always honest, candid and opinionated, she was nevertheless kind, supportive and encouraging to all fan fic writers and those who shared her many and varied interests.
God speed, dear Keryn. We will miss you enormously.

We decided early on in our friendship, not to fight over which of us was Captain Blue's biggest fan, and in fact our friendship started when Colonel Chris asked us to collaborate on updating part of the good captain's biography for the website.
Keryn worked hard to ensure her stories met her own high standards and she appreciated the fiction on the website, reading new posts with enthusiasm until her eyesight began to make reading from a screen difficult.
Keryn had been suffering Ill health for a number of years, but her death was a great shock to her family and friends.
I will miss her wit and wisdom and also having a willing sounding board for story ideas and plots, even if sometimes her trenchant comments were not what I had hoped to hear.
Thank you, Keryn.
R.I.P and S.I.G.
