Christmas Challenge 2018
Moderators: chrisbishop, Spectrum Strike Force
Good to see some new stories for the Christmas Challenge. I hope everyone is scribbling away at their contribution?
Just as long as you count me out...

Well done, Janile, for getting us off to a good start!

“Earth’s Shadows’ neatly ties in both Christmas and Scarlet’s birthday in describing what happens in the months that follow.
Without giving away spoilers, I particularly liked Dr Fawn’s comment : “I always suspected that tact and diplomacy were a closed book to Captain Scarlet.”
Well done, a great start to the Challenge and good luck to all who participate. May the Inspiration Fairy reside on your shoulder!

And also, thanks for Marion Woods for her latest story "The 99% Birthday". You did find a way to attract that inspiration fairy, did you?

Another FANTASTICeffort from the Calendar Team getting 2019 off to a brilliant start!
Many thanks to all of them for their hard work, the skills and the dedication that goes into the presentation of another excellent calendar.

Well done and thank you for the hard work you all put into doing it. It is appreciated.

(Tongue in cheek. If you need an idea for the next one, how about buildings that would be important to each character? Like Winchester Cathedral maybe for Scarlet? And if there's no real building that fits a character, then you could have the fun of making one up. Just a thought.)

Re: buildings: that's a nice idea, and even if it is not used as a calendar theme, we could have fun thinking of which building or landmark would suit which character, in either series.

I'm working my way through Janile's story, and enjoying it so far, but a week in Scotland with family has carved into my personal time, I hope to finish it as I nurse my lovely cold.."sniff..cough..splutter"
