New request for “Captain Scarlet” sounds

This is a new request for “Captain Scarlet” sounds, made on account of having a different computer system and lacking access to any of my older ones. You see, the “Captain Scarlet” sounds I had had are stored on the older ones, and I can’t get at them at this point. Anyone who can help with this is thanked in advance.

I hope this is welcome back for me, COL Bishop. It’s been a while. :grin:

Sounds as in .wav and .mp3 sounds?

You could try for a search online for "Captain Scarlet sounds", or use some sort of sound editing software to extract those you want from the series (from a DVD for example).

If you mean sound clips, I don't know if you can find such clips anymore online.

If you mean music, then if you are a member of Fanderson, or know a friend who is a member of Fanderson, you might try their Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons soundtrack set.

I don't know if there is any clips in the Captain Scarlet activity Pack, that was made a few years ago? It's still avalable on eBay and Amazon, and at the lowest price you can imagine.

It might not have the sounds you want (If I remember correctly I only took Blue's and White's SIGs), but as I said, extracting the sounds from one of the DVDs (or even YouTube I guess) is another option.

As for soundtracks, as Colonel Chris suggested, either the official soundtrack or the Fanderson set could be of use to you.

Years ago, I grabbed some sounds off of my Captain Scarlet (original) DVD's and saved them as .wav files. One I know was the drum segue between scenes. Another, I think, was the "This is the voice of the Mysterons...". Let me check my old CD archive disks. They may be on one of them. It might take me a few days as I'm going to be busy this week.

OK, this zip file is less than 1 MB and has the 5 following files:

crash.wav - a generic CS auto crash
Spectrum.wav - an extended clip from "Place of Angels" (I think)
Spectrum2.wav - an extended clip of the "Voice of the Mysterons" Intro
Sp_Segue.wav - the drum segue taken from Spectrum.wav above
VoiceOfM.wav - the "Voice of the Mysterons" taken from Spectrum2.wav above

I've never created a link to one of my OneDrive files before, so please let me know if you cannot access it. Anyone on the board here is welcome to download it.

I scanned the file with MalWareBytes before uploading. :-;)
