I’m in awe of the number you have written, the Halloween ones, the Christmas ones and all the rest. Thank you for some great reading. :-;)

Many thanks for the feedback - I am glad you enjoyed reading my latest Halloween story. I keep saying I am 'written out' but then something surfaces from the depths of my imagination - but they don't always pan out!
There have been some good stories to read this year and more to come, I'm assured. I tend to wait for the final instalment of part stories before I read them - I can't bear to wait for the cliffhangers to be resolved!
Captain Scarlet is obviously a fount of inspiration to us all!

Just want to add my two-penneth of praise for this marvellous opus. It's got absolutely everything: tension, excitement and the appropriate amount of blood and horror for Halloween. Not to mention some of the tightest, sharpest and downright hilarious dialogue I've ever read. It takes a damn good writer to manage to scare the reader to the point that its tempting to skip the gory bits, but in the next breath have you laughing out loud at the way the Spectrum officers handle their predicament.

It's also clear that Marion has worn her historian's hat with due diligence; she has not only done her research but has managed to make it enormously entertaining in the presentation. Thanks for a really great story, Marion. Somehow, I can't see you ever being 'written-out'.......God forbid! :-;)

Thank you, Skybase Girl. As I said I had the basis for this idea many years ago and it just sat around until this summer when I finally got inspired to finish it.

I am so delighted with this story for several reasons.
First, because Marion insists she has nothing left to say about the OCS universe...and this story proves her completely wrong.
Second, because it's so beautifully and atmospherically narrated, with just the right amount of detail and description, the gory scenes rendered perfectly.
Third, because I just adore her dialogue, always witty, and in many cases, truly laugh out loud.

So glad you found the time and inclination to finish off this story, it was well worth it!!!

I had heard of this uninished story a few times, and now I finally got to read it. It was worth the wait many times over. The balance between action/horror and comic relief is perfect and the strong bond between Scarlet and Blue is portrayed in an excellent way. I laughed out loud at the dialogue too.

A truly enjoyable read, Marion! :-;)
