Hmm, a bit of torment, then some intrigue, add interesting friendship dynamics and a good dollop of worry. Don’t forget the twist and turns; as well as the jeopardy to life. Include some otherworldly presences and of course the ‘happy forever after’ ending. And what do these ingredients make? ;-$

I was so sure I'd given some comments on Marion's story 'The Dark Side' but I cant find them. So I heartily echo your words, VMR, it was a superb story, brimming with everything one expects from Marion's tales: superbly drawn characters, insightful dialogue, clever situations and layers of plot.
I don't know how she does it either, I've been trying to learn from the 'mistress' for years but I guess you just have to have the raw talent!
Well done Marion, totally back to the top of your game. 8M-M)
