Continuity errors etc

I have searched this but nithing came up about a dedicated thread for it.

Just wondered if anyone had spotted any continuity/production errores in the original series E.g. Being able to see the edge or a set or a pieces of filming equipment caught in a shot or reflection.

I wondered as I have just spotted one which may of you may have seen...

In Lunarville 7, when Scarlet, Blue and Green sneak out to take a moon mobile out on their own to investigste the humboldt sea after CS as switch disks with the lunar controller, the first shot of all three of them in the moon mobile shows each one with a different colour seatbelt. The next shot however, just of CS and LG, shows the colours of their seatbelts has suddenly changed.

Anyine spotted anything like this? Obviously not including ones we've all seen like the use of the same puppet for several characters...

There is a very famous one in the last episode "The Inquisition", where Captain Blue jumps out the observation tube of the fake Cloudbase, you can see the hand which holds the puppet by the legs throwing it through the glass!

Boy, was that Blue puppet manhandled!

When Captain Brown explodes in the pilot episode, the actual puppet head that is destroyed changes from the Brown we've seen to a new, unknown head. The original 'Brown' puppet had more lives than Captain Scarlet... :wink:

In "The Inquisition" scene where the puppeteer is clearly seen throwing the Captain Blue Puppet through the glass, I have wondered if this is a true blooper? Even coming out the other side of the "set" the Captain Blue puppet clearly slides down in an awkward manner, i.e. no effort seems to have been made to render this in a "realistic" manner. Has anyone associated with the episode's production ever mentioned anything about this very famous (and very obvious) break into the Captain Scarlet world by the puppeteer? Just curious.

Symphony's hair length jumps about from long to short - which is believable - and back to long again for a scene or two, which isn't. I presume stock footage was used in the later episode (White as Snow, I think) and they just hoped no one would notice. :wink:

Some time ago I asked a question of Chris and was interested that something similar came up here. The question about continuity errors.
Well I think I know one. It happen in the episode ‘Inferno’. Harmony and Melody are the Angels we see leaving the Amber Room but when it came to shooting up the temple we see Symphony and Rhapsody, along with Destiny, doing it.
Now, one could say that it was a situation where all five Angels were ordered to fly. However we only see and hear Symphony, Rhapsody and Destiny. So I guess they filmed the shooting of the temple first, thinking they could use stock footage to fill in, only to find that they didn’t have stock footage of Symphony and Rhapsody together? Who knows? ;-$

But I will say it’s big slip up.
