Christmas Angel

Just wanted to offer my congratulations to Isabelle Saucier on her first story to be posted on this site. 8M-M)

I enjoyed it very much. It's always good to welcome new writers ; it's amazing (and lovely) to find that nearly fifty years after he first appeared, Captain Scarlet is still inspiring people to explore his world!

One of my first NCS stories ("Compromising Positions") was essentially about the relationship between Colonel White and his wife Diana. When she posted it, Chris added artwork on a theme of white (or cream) poinsettias, which she has repeated for "Christmas Angel". I think that these lovely Christmas flowers now belong to Charles and Diana!

Hope to see lots more stories from you in the future, Isabelle. :-;)

Thank you! I'm glad people like the story. I was a little nervous before sending it... I'm fairly new to the OCS/NCS universe, there are really, really great stories on this site, and I haven't written fiction in a really long while...

but... it's been raining plot bunnies lately and I can't stop anymore! :lol:

And I'm surprised I actually wrote about the Colonel, since the bunnies are usually green and blue! Christmas time does weird things to people, I guess.

I read "Compromising Positions" more than once. I really enjoyed it. I thought it really showed how the Colonel really loves his wife dearly and will do anything to prevent her from being harmed (he just happens to protect Earth at the same time :wink:

), but he is so intent on doing so that, he misses out on his actual life with her. And I agree that the poinsettias are very fitting for them.

And yes, more stories are on the way!
