And so we reach the climax of another successful challenge!

Well done to everyone who contributed; I'm always impressed with the very imaginative and ghoulish concepts people come up with, because I'm afraid my mind simply does not work that way.

I have just finished the final story and would like to thank all the authors for providing such enjoyment. Now we have the Christmas Challenge to look forward to !

I agree with Skybase Girl - there were some pretty scary stories this year.

I have at last, found the time to sit down with a nice glass of wine and enjoy the selection of wonderful stories from the 2014 Halloween challenge.
My writing gene seems to have gone AWOL, but in some strange way, I'm pleased, for this evening, I've been transported back to 2002/2003 when I first discovered this marvelous site with its wonderfully well-written stories, and I could wallow in the delight of rediscovering the characters I remembered from my childhood. And once again, like then, I've enjoyed all the stories, read without a smidgen of envy (as in - wish I could write like that!)
