I did mean it to be friendly and rather tongue-in-cheek, and I'm sorry if it hasn't come across that way. 
And I didn't entirely blame you - I blamed the original suggestion firmly on MMK, as the original poster. Obviously I couldn't claim credit for the actual plot bunny as it came from MMK, and I really wasn't going to write it.

Whilst a RL visit to Baker Street may disappoint you (since 221B doesn't actually exist), you should try and visit the underground station. It's quite spectacular. (and we're now very OT
