Nike, well done!!! Congratulations on having your first fan-fic story published on SHQ!!!
nice tight story which fairly zipped along. Got one helluva shock when London got blown up!
The illustrations suited the story nicely too. Looking forward to more of the same!

Nike, I echo all previous comments. ( Sorry for the tardy response, I've been away).

This is a really interesting take on the "what happened next" hypothesis. I have thought long and hard about various scenarios on Scarlet's return from Mars, although none of those thoughts have made it into print. It hadn't occurred to me that communication problems would be an issue, but I can quite see how plausible that is and would be another reason for Skybase to be uncertain as to whether Scarlet would be trusted on his return.

Scarlet's loneliness and Destiny's grief and confusion is very sympathetically portrayed, well done! As to the plot to destroy London, congratulations on tackling a major target and dealing with the fallout when the Mysterons prevail. That was very brave of you, I thought!

I also liked the fact that you emphasised Scarlet's "link" and former friendship with Black ( two sides of the coin, almost) and his difficulty in coming to terms with events regarding Black.. The complex emotions running between Scarlet and Destiny were nicely balanced, as was the acknowledgement that loyalties will perhaps always conflict and will certainly not be easily cast aside.

Looking forward to reading more of your work!

Thanks a lot guys, sorry for the late reply, just noticed this topic yesterday as I don't visit the forums on a daily basis. Since Dominion Part II, I've been writing several stories, ''Rage'' has been put online, but ''The Outbreak'' and ''The Deep'' are also two stories that are completed or near completion. ''Black Memories'' is a story that is on the drawing board at the moment. Then there is a fourth story that is still an idea, which I started the first chapter on. And apart from that (quite long list) there are also at least 5 stories that I have ideas for, and inspiration keeps coming in, at work, when I'm with family or when I'm outside jogging or whatever.

And when writing this story, and beginning a ''season three'' I decided to make some radical changes and decisions, the first one was to nuke London, just as a ''payback blow'' made by the Mysterons, the second was to break Scarlet and Destiny up, as not many fans around here like that

I've been in a breakup myself when writing Dominion Part II so that was fairly easy to write (not sure if I succeeded though, but practise makes perfect I guess) And the third was to get Blue and Green together, it's a couple that we all like, so I thought ''Why not?''

''Rage'' was also a horror story with a hard blow by the Mysterons. It's not that I'm gonna let the Mysterons win all the time, but I did made them a bit more focussed, more direct and allowing them to hit harder then in the ''first two seasons''. ''Rage'' was set months later then Dominion Part II, and ''The Outbreak'', ''The Deep'' and ''Black Memories'' are all set before ''Rage'', they were written to be read in that order, but like in the TV series, it was made in a certain order, but if it's seen in a different order, it doesn't really matter.

Anyways, that's all for now, thanks again for all your kind words, it inspires me to keep going!

I was wondering about something, Nike. And reading your post here makes me realise that maybe that could be a good idea!

If you want, it is possible to add 'Episode numbers' to your story. That way, if people do want to read them in the proper order you intended them to be read, they'll be able to.

Looking forward to your other stories. So far, you've given us quite a nice ride! :-;)

Thanks a lot, and that would be a nice idea indeed. Glad you like it, Wish I was just as satisfied with it xD But then, most of us think that way about our own work, right?
