GAME: The brand-new Captain Scarlet Trivia Game
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
The game goes this way:
1. A participant ask a question about either the original series or the CGI series.
2. The first good answer allows this new participant to ask a question in turn. And so on.
RULES:
1. It is mandatory to mention to which series the question refers to so that people will answer correctly, unless it should refer to both series.
3. The subject of the question, and therefore its answer, must come from a publicly accessible sources of information of either one of the show. By this we mean the TV show itself, its content (visual, audio, or technical, i.e. related to the production), books, magazines, audio books, comic strips, or other form of medium.
2. The participant asking the question MUST be available to confirm if the answer is the good one, unless one of the moderators can make the confirmation.
3. It is ONLY when the answer is validated that the new participant can post his question. So it is also requested for the participant who gave his/her answer to be available after the validation is given, so that he/she will give his answer.
4. After what will be deemed a reasonable delay, if no validation, question, or answer is given, it will be the discretion of the moderators to continue the game with a new question. So we ask that you do stick around a bit, if you have participated to the game. A good trick is to turn on the "Notify me when a reply is posted" feature, and to check your emails.
5. If you own more than one I.D., we request that you play fair and do not answer to your own question.
6. If a question is deemed inappropriate, for one reason or the other, it will be the moderators' team duty to void it and either ask the participant for a new question, or provide a new question. If a question seems incomplete, the participant might be asked to give additional information.
7. The previous rules can be changed, if even a problem should make it necessary to do so.
Ready then?
Set, and go!

In the original Captain Scarlet series, what is the name of the silver screen star who was the inspiration for both the voice and the features of the character Captain Scarlet?

The 'waiter' is - not surprisingly - rather surprised.

Should I give a hint? Perhaps I should give an idea of how/where you can find the answer? I didn't mean to make it this hard.
