Not really, Captain - I wouldn't want to inflict pain on a real person and I always ensured that Scarlet escaped (pretty much) unscathed at the end.

Captain Scarlet's unique ability to recover - even from death - does make him the obvious target for the suffering and despatch that occurs in any adventure, and what's more - he even wears red like the expendable extras in 'Star Trek' - do you think that's where Gene Roddenberry got the idea from? :wink:

A possibility. I'm just glad Star Trek isn't real as Ferrari's Formula One team would be completely screwed.

I'm tempted to put some of my CS slasher mini stories up online, try and encouage the growth of the sub genre of deviantART. I love doing them also for the gritty little details that make readers squirm in their seats.
