I've been away from the forum for some time, so I'm sorry to log-in and see your sad news, Scarlet Lady. I can't think of anything that is as eloquent as Marion and Skybase Girl have already said to persuade you to come out of retirement, so I'll just offer my sympathy and my sincere wish that you find your inner peace in the very near future.

What can I say, Carrie? You're very kind too.

I have had some new inspiration, but I've just wrote it down for now and left it until I feel able and ready to look at it.

My sister is busy at college now, but perhaps by the time I'm ready she will also be in a place where she can write and we'll be able to work together - I feel more confident in partnership with someone I know well, at the moment.

I'll let you know if things change. But, at the moment, at least, it feels good to be able to stop and not feel guilty about having to.

Scarlet Lady, definitely write down any thoughts, ideas, snippets. inspiration - you just never know when they'll turn into something special.

But sometimes that's a good thing as it means you have something to go back to and edit. And by getting it out of your system you're clearing space for more thought on what you are writing. That's what happened with my first OS fan fic.

Well he is indestuctable. You can only injure the others to a certain extent without killing them. Mind you, my short fic about Blue breaking his leg is quite horrific.

It's the sorta stuff you find in slasher movies, the anticaption of who kills Scarlet and how they do it with what weapon makes for an exciting read. There's a fan lit slasher sub genre in several fandoms, like in the Star Wars and The Justice League fandoms.
