Spectrum at the Olympics

There's always relay race in swimming, isn't it? How many members do they need for a team?

We have least as three members now .


RE: Canon and non canon. It would indeed be interesting to, at some point, make a list or at least an article, of what is considered canon, semi-canon, non-canon, and what are the various sources available and acceptable. I would have to agree with Lime that the John Theydon books would be either semi-canon, or set outside of the acceptable canon. I'm not sure about the Scarlet/Rhapsody relationship thing, as people might consider there's some hints of it even in the series... and in various other sources that, I admit, might be considered semi-canon...

That might be a riveting chat for another thread that we might consider to open! Whatever the subject, we can discuss the acceptability of said details into canon, or semi-canon... or whatever!

I always thought Grey would be a good swimmer and that Blue would be one too - after all, you need to be able to deal with falling off your surfboard, don't you?

Also, Blue's bio says that he enjoys water-related sports generally and that he excels in surfing over all. With that in mind, I'd imagine he would be a strong swimmer.

I wonder if he plays water polo...

I don't know what it is like in the rest of the world but as long as the Olympics are on, TV viewing is absolutely dire in Oz. (Mind you, the programs they are advertising to start after the Olympics don't look so hot either).

I haven't been watching the olympics. And I haven't been watching the other not-so-good programmes on TV either... I now have the OCS boxset:-D (apart from the getting older part, I love birthdays ) I've been hijacking the TV and DVD remotes in the evenings and watching the episodes. I've 'succeeded' in making my family say "Not Captain Scarlet again ", sometimes the do sit and watch it with me

Captain Scarlet (original): any and all of the combat sports. Along with anything requiring a weapon of sort. He's supposed to be an expert!

Oh, yes - absolutely, Colonel! Especially rifle shooting, being an excellent marksman.

And the track races? I'm sure his stamina/endurance would let him do that with no problem


Scarlet won't need to worry about drug testing his retrometabolism is part of him and not a drug, also it would get rid of any traces of drugs IF he had used any (although I don't think they'd last long enough in his body to be of any use )

Interesting subject

I never noticed any "hints" in the series. I did notice a lot more chemistry between Scarlet and Destiny, though. The way I've been determining Canon, by the way, is whether it ties in with what Sylvia and Gerry Anderson have already said. If there is nothing on a particular subject, I tend to try to find something more obvious, e.g. Blue and Symphony's relationship. Anyway, that's enough from me on the subject here. On with the game!

Actually, I thought I was going to hate the Olympics too, but I actually really got into watching it, especially the rowing!

Just trying to rack my brains for some suggestions...maybe thinking that Captain Ochre might enter the shooting competition, as a cop he would probably have had a fair bit of practice.
