UPDATES: April 2012

Don't worry, they're coming!

It's just that after the very busy time of Halloween and then Christmas, I often take some time off the PC, so to rest a little bit, and see to other stuff that I put aside for a little while.

Be assured that, now that we're into this ELEVENTH year of existence, Spectrum HQ is still alive and kicking and here to stay.

Things to come in the following weeks:

- A new section will be opened on S.I.D. Database, where fanfic writers to this website will be able to see their OTHER works posted! Yes, other fandom will be allowed on S.I.D. Database. And not only Gerry Anderson fandoms - others as well. And maybe original works as well, who knows? Time will only tells what would be submitted!

- A page on Skybase will be put up on Skybase Central. It will be the start of the much needed updates of Skybase Central, as other pages will follow. Filled with pictures (provided in large part by Brindlewhite, one of our members), these pages will be set in a fresh, brandnew presentation, very similar to what you can find on the Original characters pages.

- Oh and yes, since we're at it, many of the Spectrum HQ section will be revitalised in a similar fashion. The Craft and Vehicles pages will be the first to be... er... retrometabolised, and made better!

- A couple of new stories are waiting in the wings as well, so be patient, and you'll soon see them online!

Comments on what's coming, and even suggestions of what else might be done to make Spectrum HQ interesting, are welcomed! Just write them here!

As promised, here are the new updates!

This week, a new section has been added to S.I.D. Database. "Other Fandoms Fan Fiction" will permit authors who already have submitted Captain Scarlet stories to Spectrum Headquarters, to submit other stories, that they had written for other fandoms as well. It doesn't have to be a Gerry Anderson-related story either.

So to inaugurate the section, we have a story for you:

From Fay Symes, who gave us the Captain Scarlet stories "The Colours of Blood and Twilight" as well as "Primary Colours", we now have a "Land of the Giants" story, entitled "Small Prey".

Hi everyone!

Another update this week! A new story has been added to our collection:

LIME DOCTOR, by Parker Gabriel. This story follows “Gray Admiral, White Colonel,” and consists mainly of Dr. Lime’s life story, which she relates to Captain Scarlet.

Number 486 of our collection, this story is the sixth text submitted by Parker Gabriel, who has been a Captain Scarlet writer since the 90s, with a text published in Issue 112, of the Power Star fanzine.
