NEW FEATURE: How to set my own, personal theme?
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
Anxious to please all of our members, and aware that some of them might find it something of a problem to read the forum under the original colour theme presented to them, the administration has decided that it would be possible for members to change that theme into one of their own. At the moment, we are able to present you with a handful of new themes, either on dark backgroun or light background, that you will be able to chose from. For the moment, we kept the basic red/black/grey and white for all themes, but it is not to say that eventually, we won't have other themes. In fact, we expect to be able to install new themes in tribute to all aspects of the series (characters, vehicles, craft...) We are open to suggestions to kind of theme might be interesting to offer our members.
We have to warn members, however, that if they chose too light of a background at the moment, they might encounter some trouble reading a few posts. As they had been written at the time of the unique theme of the old forum - which featured a dark background - some of these posted were created with pale writing (white, yellow, orange, etc.). However, you can go around the problem, temporarily, by highlighting the text you want to read. We would appreciate if you would contact the administrator of this website, or one of the moderators through PM to inform us of any text that might prove difficult to read. We will try to attend to the problem then. Do include in your message all the information needed to locate the problematic post.
To set your own, personal theme, you need to follow these directions:
- Go to your "User Control Panel"
- Click on "Board Preferences" in the options.
- If you're not already there, select "Edit global settings".
- Find "My board style" and from its menu, select the theme you would like.
- Click the "Submit" button. Your new theme will appear in a few seconds. If you don't like it, you can change to another.
