Were you like that with your teachers at school? Did you respond to a lesson from any of them with a condescending "well, perhaps someone who knows what they're talking about can explain"?

Oh, and BTW, the Mods don't approve of people making personal remarks, The Beta Queen.
Please don't do it again.

Shall we return to the subject at hand?

The last of Jeff Tracy's sons to die was his youngest, John Glenn Tracy, who had made his way through the ranks of the World Navy's United States phalanx to become a full bird captain before his death.
I feel I should mention that the youngest of the dear Tracy boys is Alan. Scott is the eldest - there is something just so... exciting about eldest sons, isn't there? - then there is dear Virgil, who is a mere matter of months older than I am. Dear John comes next, then Gordon and Baby Alan.
I will not be drawn on exactly when we were all born; a woman likes to keep her secrets, after all.

However, my colleagues in International Rescue and I all accept that the artistic temprement does, occasionally, like to be economical with the truth in the pursuit of a good story, so we don't insist.
And, besides, we are a secret organisation. Sometimes, I get rather alarmed that so many people seem to know so much about us.

When I started the poll I wasn't actually intending to include Scarlet as 'a Mysteron' - it was intended to refer only to the hostile aliens . However, Intensity Angel has a point and in answer to that, I would say that you can have good 'Spectrum' fiction - even including 'alien Mysterons' - without Scarlet.
I must admit, I am often tempted to relegate him to Sick Bay or otherwise incapacitate him in order to concentrate on what the others are up to.
This has nothing to do with my personal preferences, of course...
