UPDATES: February 8, 2010: Website's redesign.

Hi again folks! Now that the Challenges (Halloween and Christmas) are finished, it's time to return to this thread, and to start again announcing the Spectrum Headquarters website updates onto this space!

And we have a few updates for you...

First, we have a WEBSITE updates. If you went to the Spectrum HQ main website, you might have noticed that some of the pages have changed. That's right, the top and side menu was redesigned, so it would become one, and would not appear as two different entities. Additionnally to that, by popular demand, the FANFICTION now appear much more in view, at the top of the menu, so you will find it quickly and will access this very popular section right away.

Please take note that the specific colours of the menu bullets have changed too. The Fan Fiction button, for example, is now the GOLD BUTTON.

To reflect that change regarding the proeminence of the Fan Fiction link into the website menu, you'll probably notice that the menu at the top of THIS FORUM also now present a Fan Fiction button.

As well, the main FAN FICTION ACCESS PAGE has changed. The large buttons are gone, but have been replaced by text links, which are more specific and much clearer now. Each of the Challenges now appear on the page, and the "Newest Fan Fiction Additions" link will be marked with an update date, each time there will be new stories available.

the NEWEST FAN FICTION ADDITIONS page was also slightly redesigned. I've pruned the page, so that now there's only about two years back of listed stories (which are still listed on the Archives pages anyway), and the "Stories coming soon" section has been removed. I've replaced it instead by link, that you'll simply have to click to view a small pop-up window, in which the stories will be listed. This link will be marked with a date whenever there will be news regarding coming stories.

Further redesigning will be done in the near future, especially in the Fan Fiction section, where I'm planning on redefining the Challenges pages and add a Cross overs section. The Episode Guide section should also received some changes in time.

You might have noticed, the countdown corner on the left corner of the INDEX PAGE. This is announcing the upcoming 10th anniversary of the website, in about a year time! So this is for this occasion that we are making these changes. There are still many projects on the table, such as the completion of the Skybase Central section, and, we hope, more fanfic to offer you in order to celebrate this big event in the coming months.

If you have any suggestions about things you'd like to see added, or changed, now is the time to speak up. We do not promised that we will meet all of your suggestions, but we will certainly check all to them. That would be your way to participate to the website's upcoming anniversary!
