Voice acting

This is a small question about voice acting in one episode of the original Captain Scarlet. The voices for non-puppet roles (e.g. radio voices, announcers) are credited in various sources such as the Fanderson website - with the one exception, it seems, of the computer S.I.D. in the episode "Lunarville 7". Does anyone know the voice of this "character" underneath the electronic modification that was used to make it sound all sci-fi and futuristic? I could swear I read on one site that Gerry Anderson himself provided the voice uncredited (didn't he voice the robot in Fireball XL5, after all?); another, I think, said that it was Francis Matthews, who voiced Scarlet.
This has baffled me for years, and it's not like S.I.D. only gets one line in "Lunarville 7" either, playing, as he does, a significant role in the plot of that episode. I was just wondering if anyone out there knew the definite answer. Thanks very much for your time.

Chris Bentley doesn't mention anything about who 'voiced' SID at all in either of the 2 books I have of his...
Gerry Anderson did 'voice' Robert the Robot in 'Fireball XL5' though.
Does anyone else have any more information on this?
