And no it doesn't sound like a space shuttle lauch.
If you were going to that particular you can say where they were going; because how likely is it they'd go to Koala base (or wherever) in a space shuttle?

As you all probably are aware of, there's now on the website, in the fan fiction section, a page called "Tools and Documents", which is meant to offer helpful information to authorsfor their Captain Scarlet writing. If you have not seen it yet, I suggest a visit:
http://www.spectrum-headquarters.com/to ... uments.htm
Eventually, some of the links offered on this thread will be added to that page. And there will be other useful links as well (those leading to the Wandering Critic website and blog come to mind!)
Additionnally, if you have suggestions of what could be added to the Tools and Documents page, post them here. We'll study every suggestions and will take them into consideration.

As for all the information on the website (like craft, vehicles, settings, equipment, etc.) the information found on the characters pages are a valuable tools that you are welcome to use. In fact, we encourage you to use the tools offered by the website - or whatever official or semi-official sources you want or might find (comic strips, annuals, novels, audio stories, etc.) and this could only help you in the writing of your stories, to make them more "in tune" with the background of the series (whatever series you chose, the OCS, or the NCS one).
This will make the readers more appreciative of your work, because they are fan of the series, and what they want to read about is new stories from their favourite characters.
Of course, a good measure of imagination is also needed! So go ahead and be creative as well!

I know the time and effort she's put into creating this resource for the fans of the show and I - for one - use it frequently to verify my facts when I'm writing.
There's no better source for information on Captain Scarlet than the Spectrum HQ website.

Thanks for the reminder that it does, even if it's not in "organized" form
Excuse me, Parker...what exactly did you mean by that?
I cannot for one moment believe that you think the biographies are somehow lacking in detail, as the information contained within each one has been gleaned from a huge variety of official sources, such as the original 1967/68 annuals, the books by Bassett/Drake/Bentley, TV21 comics strips and many more, and is presented , in my opinion in a format that catches the eye and absorbs the reader. All the information anyone would ever need, presented in a way that doesn't make you nod off with boredom. How brilliant is that? Nice one Colonel Chris.
I guess you're entitled to your opinion, this is a free forum after all, but a 'throwaway' comment like that needs some explanation...

On the subject of musical terms... You can actually find A LOT of them online, with a little research! I came up with a few pages that you may find interesting... And for those who are looking for names and cannot think of any (or at least of enough of them...) here's a few links to keep handy:
http://www.canteach.ca/elementary/music7.html
http://www.musictheory.halifax.ns.ca/definitions.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_o ... erminology
http://www.classicalworks.com/html/glossary.html
Of course, some of the information tends to be the same, but I don't think any of these compilation is complete in itself... Making a search with some of the original Angels' names proved that! Rhapsody, for example, isn't in the Wikipedia link, but would be in the first link you'll find above.

http://www.yougowords.com/end-with-y/3-syllables
This will give you words of three syllables ending in "y". There's 49 pages, so that should give you one or two good candidates for what you're looking for. Some examples:
History Angel
Celery Angel
Misery Angel
The list looks like it may be computer generated. Even though the filter is 3 syllables, some 2-syllable words creep in. Our five favorite Angels are included in there too.
