This is a fabulous read, a marvelously written and sophisticated tale full of political intrigue, vivid characterizations and a tightly woven plotline that will keep you guessing right the way through to the end. (Oh - and the techno-scientific detail had my inner-Einstein positively beaming with joy, too!)
I would like to gush and blather more, but that would give too much away at this point....
Read, re-read and be more and more delighted every single time! 10/10. ENJOY!
Congratulations Clya - it was well worth the wait!

Complex, sophisticated and surprising, Clya has exploited the unexplored possibilities of the "Stingray" series, while incorporting it into the Capt Scarlet universe in apparently effortless fashion.
Unlike Doc Denim, I confess to not readily taking on board some of the technological details. This is why I have read and re-read certain paragraphs ; this only serves to increase my admiration at what can be achieved mainly through dialogue. This is clever stuff indeed.
Well done, Clya. Apart from the sheer enjoyment of the story, you have inpired me to revisit the Stingray episodes

There's a precedent for Spectrum and the WASPs working together, as the clip from one of the TV21 CS stories below shows. (Not only that, but a fleet of XL-class spaceships was launched later in the same story to prevent Black from reaching Mars, though speaking personally I always had a bit of a problem with that. The original TV series established that the Zero-X was contemporary with both Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet, but Fireball XL5 would have to have inhabited a universe in which the Solar System had already been thoroughly explored. I prefer to believe that it was actually a Zero-X that was sent after Captain Black's rocket, and that the artist simply made a mistake. I mean, artists do occasionally slip up, don't they: I mean, I suspect that WASP officer's skin probably wasn't quite as green as it looks in the picture - otherwise mightn't somebody just possibly have noticed?)

I used to think that Stingray and Captain Scarlet didn't inhabit cross-overable Ander-space.
Although certainly not alluded to in the TV series, there were nods to a cross over between the two universes in the supporting media, with Lt Green and Captain Gray's bios, as they both supposedly worked for the WASP prior to joining Spectrum. Clya certainly built on that with the superb 'Concordian Legacy'.
This story is a equally superb, serving up a smorgasbord of political machinations, dastardly plots and dazzling dialogue.
You've hit the spot yet again, Clya,
Brava!
