Born Bartolomeo Dominic Bellisario, Rome, Italy, 20 January, 2034. Son of Dante Giuseppe Bellisario by the former Concetta Maria Verdi, who became the joint owners and proprietors of an art studio in Turin, Italy, after the family moved there from Rome. He first met Gabriella Panettieri, an artist's model and artistic photographer, in 2051; the two were lovers for four years even though he casually dated other local women.
When the Bereznik-Italy War broke out in late May of 2055, the Bereznikans instantly killed both of his parents, not eight days after Signorina Panettieri had developed and printed three life-size artistic photographs, all nude self-portraits, and slowly killed Panettieri herself by bombing the Bellisario art studio on 24 May, 2055, less than two weeks before Panettieri would have married Bellisario. Himself almost driven to suicide, Bellisario was advised by his confessor to return to Rome, his birthplace, to learn what God wanted him to do.
Reaching Vatican City by night, which night he spent praying for guidance inside Saint John Lateran Cathedral, the traditional bishop's chair of the Pope of Roman Catholicism. His prayer was answered, as he still claims, by the command from God to ask the next mortal who entered the cathedral, or allow him or her to tell Bellisario, what he or she did. That would be what he was to do. He waited for three days and three nights for this, neither sleeping nor eating all the while.
On the morning of the fourth day, a World Army Air Force chaplain outfitted in dress uniform entered. Having noticed Bellisario observing him, he asked what troubled the other man, and Bellisario told his story in brief. The chaplain advised him to join the World Army Air Force Corps Of Chaplains to obtain direction in his life, and Bellisario did.
Returning to his boyhood home of Turin only once, to assist in Gabriella Panettieri's funeral (an open-coffin ceremony in which she was buried in the nude, to symbolize that people often die as naked as they were when born) and take her three life-size nude self-portrait photographs with him as a reminder that as a priest, he would give up the company of women, Bellisario then left Turin behind, never to return.
Graduating from Il Università Nordamericana Pontifical, or the Pontifical North American College, in Rome with a master’s degree in political science and a Doctor of Divinity degree after four years of highly successful studies, he volunteered for the WAAF chaplaincy and was accepted the very day he took Roman Catholic holy orders.
Proving to be highly skilled as a diplomat, and compiling a remarkably high survival quotient, and at a time when other WAAF chaplains were being killed in action in frighteningly high numbers, the young padre rose through the ranks more quickly than most to achieve full colonelship in the WAAF at the age of thirty-one. Only Paul Metcalfe, now Captain Scarlet of Spectrum, achieved this feat at a younger age.
Meeting Conrad Turner, who was on his way to becoming Captain Black of Spectrum, after Turner was nearly killed in a still-unknown accident while trying to set up Koala Base, Chaplain Colonel Reverend Father Bellisario helped Turner find the psychological strength the World Space Patrol colonel needed to survive his injuries.
Asked if he believed the new Spectrum Organization needed a Corps Of Chaplains, Turner admitted that he found Bellisario to be the chaplain best suited as Chief of such a corps and submitted Bellisario's application to Colonel White as soon as Dr. Fawn certified him (Turner) able to return to duty. Colonel White accepted the application and approved Bellisario's request for the code name of "Father Ivory." When he was being trained for his Spectrum duties aboard Cloudbase, Father Ivory spent what he calls the two most difficult months of training he had ever had to take, learning non-deadly unarmed hand-to-hand combat, since armed forces chaplains are not allowed to carry weapons. Status: active duty.

I believe it will be updated when there are enough new entries. Is that right, Colonel?
