New S.I. codes

Using these codes, members of Spectrum can sound more official to whoever is around.

I like S.I.C. for Spectrum is Cloudy as in "we really don't know what is going on"

S.I.B. for Spectrum is Blue, used when on cold weather assignments and you are stuck outside awaiting rescue and hoping you don't freeze.

and the counter to that

S.I.W. Spectrum is White as in white hot, useful in desert situations.

S.I.S. Spectrum is Smokey used when you've blown up yet another piece of equipment.

The website Calendars were there before you, Sasha. I particulary liked (and agreed with) S.I.G. = Spectrum is Gorgeous - for the swimwear edition, naturally.

(when I first typed that it came out as 'sinwear' edition - a Freudian slip, or what?

Destiny - S.I.A.; Spectrum is Annoying!
Scarlet - S.I.S.; Spectrum is Soppy!
Blue - S.I.B.; Spectrum is Braindead!
Ochre - S.I.F.; Spectrum is Fabulous!
Magenta - S.I.C.; Spectrum is Cheesy!
Grey - S.I.I.; Spectrum is Insignificant!
Indigo - S.D.L.O.C.; Spectrum does little of Consequence!

Yes, I know the last one doesn't count, but I'm tired. Forgive me. :grin:

I haven't seen Ochre, Indigo, or Grey yet, still making my way through the series.

How about S.I.R: Spectrum is Red?

SIW: Spectrum is White?

SIB: Spectrum is Blue: Already said though.

I don't know any other SI abbreviations. And I don't know about SIW as one of those.

i don't see any harm done in coming up with more than one suggestion for the same things.
heck, SIG is cannon is was used for the calander, because its fun. and that is all this silly game thread was ment for.

right now I am thinking S.I.F. Spectrum is Furry, also known as there is a cat trying to get between me and the computer.

Here's one I'm proposing: S.I.O., for "Spectrum Is Orange." It could be used to refer to a situation where the circumstances appear suspicious, but about which nothing is definitely known yet. It would be only one step below S.I.R., "Spectrum Is Red," which clearly denotes alert status or something being definitely wrong.

S.I.C. - Spectrum is Chilly. After all, it's pretty cold up there at 40000 feet, and I expect the money in the electricity meter runs out sometimes...
