Rough Start
He knew it was going to be a bad day when he woke up hanging upside down in a tree minus his vest, hat and turtleneck. A cool wind ruffled the branches and he blinked muzzily, looking around to try and get himself orientated. "Scratch that..." He allowed himself a whimsical smile, looking up through the pine needles to the patch of dawn-pink sky framing his right foot. "No vest, hat, turtleneck or right boot...damn, that was my favourite sock too..."
He wiggled his toes, just to make sure they were all still attached, and that was when the yelling started.

Nice on, Shades.
I'm sure you'll be able to turn it into a story (even if it's a 'short story').
that's madness with a little 'm'... as in 'crazy'...

Heh, methinks your prediction has suddenly turned quite accurate. The ideas are coming thick and fast all of a sudden now.
Now, if only I could find the time to write them down...

Prediction? That wasn't a prediction... that was me being psychic

Write everything down, when it comes to mind, whenever you can/have time... I'm sure the other writers will agree

Heh, indeed.

And in that train of thinking, here's another drabble.
Never tell all
"Your halo is crooked, Captain Blue."
Adam looked up from where he was quite comfortably sprawled on a couch in the officer's lounge to see Raphsody looking down at him, hands on her hips and the faintest crease of a frown marking her brow. "What makes you say that?" He asked innocently, laying down his book. "Besides, I thought wearing halos was the job of you lovely ladies."
"I was talking with Cinnabar, down in the Angel Maintenance Bay this morning," Raphsody began, ignoring that last comment, "he mentioned you were there yesterday, asking if you could rummage through the scraps bin."
"Paul asked me to, he wanted something for a project he's tinkering with." Adam shrugged.
"Alright," the female pilot grudgingly conceeded, "but what about Phelps saying you were in his electronics lab, asking about borrowing some tools?"
"I had to repair my other vest." He replied. "The electronics took a hit last week."
"And the bottle of talcum powder you picked up from the SpectraMart?"
"I was picking it up for Grey, he's being sent down to Koala Base and he has something he wanted to demonstrate to the cadets." Adam picked up his magazine again. "Is that all, Raphsody?" He queried innocently.
She scowled at him. "So all this has nothing to do with the itching powder in your underwear drawer last week?" She demanded.
Adam smirked up at the English pilot, a rare gleam of mirth sparkling in his eyes. "Now, now Raphsody, that would be telling."

Something written solely for the cute images
The Captain and the Cat
"...nng..." Scarlet came back to himself slowly, ascending through the layers of consciousness at a crawl. Multiple gunshot wounds was never easy to recover from in the first place, never mind a decent fall too.
Partway along his trek to full awareness he became aware of something warm pressed up against his chest. It was a small something (so it couldn't have been Raphsody, as he would have preferred) but large enough for him to realise it wasn't a chemical heat pack (something Dr Fawn had been trialing to help his body along.)
The warm thing, seemingly realising that he was awakening, got up and promptly tucked itself under his chin and started nuzzling. "Prrow?"
Scarlet opened his eyes at the insistent command and his vision was filled with a little tabby cat giving his battered face a most thorough sniff and lick inspection.

Just one small comment: it's Rhapsody, not Raphsody

“So... that day is coming up next month.” Adam broached the topic as carefully as he could. “Are you going to do anything about it?”
Paul resolutely kept his face turned to the porthole, blue eyes fixed on the horizon. “I've already sorted it out.” He replied, cut glass accent even more pronounced than usual. “Fawn has already agreed to put the five of us on medical leave for that week with guaranteed non-interference from the Colonel. A friend of mine has loaned me the use of his hunting lodge in Alaska. We're all going to go there and get utterly and disgustingly drunk.” He paused for a moment, jaw clenched as he fought to retain his legendary self control. “I have little recollection of that day. I have no wish to remember it this year either.”

Symphony grew defensive under her friend’s interrogation. “I don’t know why I dreamt it; I just did.”
“You killed us both,” Rhapsody said, “made Pat out to be a fool and revealed things you shouldn’t.”
“I didn’t expect to be taken seriously,” Symphony replied. “It was only a dream.”
“Okay; but you shouldn’t have gone into details. Paul’s started giving Lieutenant Green suspicious looks.”
“Why?”
“You made out he said disparaging things about Paul and… cared about what happened to me.”
“Did I?” Symphony bit her lip. “Did I reveal any other secrets?”
“Just one,” Rhapsody said.
And told her.

The continuous creaking was shredding his nerves. The air was stale and humid. The Tower lurched, throwing him against the computer banks. The temperature gauge continued to fall. He could smell his companion’s fear.
He ‘d never liked confined spaces; that’s why he’d become a pilot. He fought to remain calm. Sweat tricked beneath his uniform. He closed his eyes.
“This is it,” the man said.
Blue refused to believe that.
The sudden blaze of light seared his eyeballs; the temperature gauge shivered and slowly began to rise.
“He did it. Captain Scarlet did it!”
He’d never been so grateful.
