Intensity, it is a word, but the meaning wasn't particularly clear for a while. To be honest, I thought the definition you gave described over-steering, but I know nothing about cars, so...
Maybe both can be accepted? One's NCS and one's OCS, and they are both valid, at least to an extent. As Sasha says 'Zoom' was accepted.
Peace-maker over and out...

Zoom was accepted, as finding words with a Z is hard enough - but as we have an alternative suggestion for U here, I think we'll go with that one for now.
As Serena says, calm down. It is a game, and that's all.

If it was too easy, it wouldn't be fun. Don't you agree?
Universal Engineering is accepted as official entry for U on this round.

Lieutenant Violet (yes there is one, poor chap!) - Spectrum's operative in Cape Town / South Africa (according to Theydon's 'Captain Scarlet and the Silent Saboteur')

I found this one - and although we've agreed we can skip the 'difficult letters' (which is rapidly getting to be most of the alphabet!) I'm going to post this:
XKF 115 The WAAF plane Melody ditched in when she was 'shipwrecked' in the South Seas for a year!

I think I may just have another 'X' up my sleeve for the next round

On the subject of 'Y', how about:
President Younger - he's the World President from 'Captain Scarlet and the Silent Saboteur'
(is it cheating using references from Theydon's books?)
