VARIOUS MISHAPS FOLLOWING UPGRADE

There seem to be various problems at the moment.
Yesterday a post was over-written when someone tried to quote from it, and today when I tried to do my usual 'search for posts since last visit' it got the following message come up:

Could not delete old search id sessions

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1054 Unknown column 'search_time' in 'where clause'

DELETE FROM phpbb_search_results WHERE search_time < 1222585239

Line : 658
File : search.php

I tried to send a PM and got 'Forum declines to show the webpage' or something - so I have no idea if it went or not.

Anybody else had similar problems?

The same thing happened to me just now when trying to access 'View New Posts since...' - an almost identical error message to the one you received - and also when trying to open my posts in 'Your Posts'.

Captain Indigo and I proceeded to an upgrade last evening, and things are still not quite working like they should. Be patient - we'll finish the work completely in the coming days.

In the meantime, you are welcome to report here the problems that you will discover, so we will be able to attend to them.

I'm getting the same error message as Marion when I try to use any of the search functions. PMs and quoting seem to be all right, though.

I'm getting the same message too.

But I trust Colonel Chris and Captain Indigo enough to sort the problem out though :wink:

:oops: Sorry about this, guys. I'll get the current bug sorted out, and as Chris says, please continue to report any problems you find.

The 'quote' issue occured before the upgrade, so I'm not too sure about that.

Okay, the search bug has now been fixed, and the 'View posts since last visit' seems to be working again.

As I said before (and will keep saying), please report anything like this so that we can sort it asap.

For now the forum has been enabled again. So you can resume your activities for now.

Be aware, though, that the forum might be disabled again, and maybe a few times again in the following days, until everything works fine.

We'll give you the final info when we'll have it.

Yes, Mysterons, it's called 'thinking outside of the box'

I am pleased to report that, despite the Mysterons' best efforts, everything now seems to be running smoothly, and normal service has been restored :-D
