Halloween 2008

The Halloween-fest always brings out some darn good fanfic - Scarlet lends himself so well to the macabre, it seems... I hope there are some stories ready to go for 2008?

I might try and get my main halloween wip up together, but not sure if it'll pan out or I'm still keen on it.
Either way there will be something from me anyway.

However, even if I get it straight in my head, I doubt there'll be time to write it - unless I throw an extended sickie at work ( and I have never done such a thing in thirty-five years !

However, needs must......

Mine's all set to go onto the site! It's been beta'ed and stuff! I'm very thankful to Chris for agreeing to see it early on (for reasons I'd rather not divulge) because she has made everything so much better!
Cheers! xx

I've also had a sneak preview of the story Chris is writing.... some people have all the luck, don't they?

And this will teach me to respond to topic reply notifications before I read the rest....
Glad to see you and Chris will be setting the bar once more this year, Marion ! I seriously don't know how you both do it and work at the same time.

I'm just sending mine off, and have another couple [non-halloween but still] in the pipeline too.

Enough of the lie-downs, already! Get writing. You're on a roll - don't lose momentum now!

I haven't made up my mind yet whether it is worth posting. The more I re-read it the less pleased I am with the whole story idea. That's probably why I gave up on it last Halloween!

My only submission may possibly be in time for Halloween, but I doubt it can be counted as part of the challenge ( although a challenge in itself it has been !).
Still, we'll see. Best of luck to everyone who has things sewn up, or stil in the pipeline. Don't get desperate, take deep breaths and only resort to drink if you think it's the only way to enhance the plot.
Now if only I could follow my own advice......

Good luck to those still in the throes of creating their stories. I am hoping we'll see each and every one of them!

A little Inspiration to help....

I wanted to do something different from everyone else. That's all I'm saying.

I hope people like 'On This Night Of Nights', I think its an alright story.
Thanks Mod for pointing out what I'd missed while writing.
