silliest paraphenalia you have found and/or bought
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
i was thinking it was one of those "if i lived in England I'd understand this" type things.
this morning my ebay search tells me there is a talking spv cheap.
my talking car looked lonely, so a talking hellicopter & angel interceptor are on their way.
silliness is good for the soul.

Gotta admit, I've been around since before cassettes were 'high tech'. My first tape recorder had two large reels for tape and a big, round microphone you plugged in. It was the size of a small suitcase... and I loved it to death.
I have quite a lot of cassettes as, until this year, the options on my 'In-car-entertainment' facility was for cassette tapes or Radio 4 - and dearly as I love BBC Radio 4, there is only so much of it even I can take in one go!
It does explain why I know something (albeit not much) about cricket though. If you stay tuned into longwave transmissions (as I do) you get 'Test Match Special'..

The cassette box, with the Scarlet design, came from eBay - just like the other 7 did. I am still looking for one with a Captain Blue design... then I will buy another eight.

I've got models of the OCS and NCS Angels aircrafts; a Scarlet, Black, White... and Destiny Angel (I managed to get the four of them as one 'item' on ebay)

Poor Interceptor...

Pink!?
What's wrong with pink? (I think Magenta would kind of agree with me

Sadly, it wakes you up with the voice of the mysterons.
if it would wake me up to Scarlet's voice I might just have to find a way to afford it.
its a bit out of my silliness budget.

I also saw a remote control SPV!!! that looked like fun. of course it is in England and the seller says it is very heavy so they don't recommend overseas shipping.
and then there is the CS toothbrush
and, the SPV soap - sadly there was no picture in that listing.
ebay is great for silliness!

It has a hellicopter with it that was supposed to talk, but it doesn't. how sad. it is mute.
The talking SPV I"ve seen listed looks very spiffy. Not only does it talk (tho is ays some of the same things the car says) it has little figures inside and opens up and fires rockets!
all kinds of fun.
why i like these talking toys so much i really couldn't tell you.
maybe because I talk to inanimate objects anyway????

I have one of these, unfortunately the SPV seems to have vanished. The voice of the Mysterons sounds a little weird.

ok, the kids shoes box (shoes not included) was amusing.
but the CS pencil & pencil topper had to be my favorite.
i also found an SPV and SPC on a suction cup, which might be about what I need so the cats don't run off with my toys.
