I think of her as one of those characters you love to hate. Why can't the other Angels have more screen time? Rhapsody would've been a great character to develop!!

She grew on me but then I realised if she were real, I'd probably of thumped her back now because she can be SOOOO OTT. Fine give her the credit that she's Angel leader, but still!!

TBH, I don't reeeeally have a problem with her...fair play she can be slightly annoying & OTT in some scenes. The thing that really "makes" a character in a series like this is the voice artist and sometimes her voice is well under played IMO. But she's alright, at least there's more depth to her than there is in all five angels in OCS put together

and sometimes the angels...well just aren't very good...they seem to use the ejector pods ALL the time

however it's quite cool how she's Scarlet's love interest throughout the series...I wonder if this had developed further if a third series had been made ???

Good to know that someone finds NCS Destiny interesting, even if she may be slightly annoying at times.

I like the flaws in the characters - after all, that's what makes them human. And yes, I do think that had there been a third series, the relatonship between Destiny and Scarlet would have developed. I think it would also have given great opportunities for the scriptwriters to explore the complex stuff going on between her, Scarlet and Black.

Shame it's not likely to happen!

BTW if it was a choice between Destiny and Ochre.....I'd go for Ochre, she's a great character especially in Grey Skulls

I think that they both feel the same way about one another, and after Black died it was only a matter of who made the first move

However, Ochre? I don't think she does that.

For what it's worth, I think both characters are of great interest. I have explored female Ochre in a story which will hopefully be posted for the Christmas Challenge. I hope people might like my take on her.

Alright, I'm gonna be honest now. I've matured a great deal since I first posted about Destiny Angel and I'm now able to review her as acharcter a lot clearer.

I love the love triangle between her, Scarlet and Black and like all of you would've loved to seen it pan out in a third series. She's a good leader, when she's not costing Spectrum money by losing and damaging aircraft. She's quite human in that she has flaws and concerns. I really like her in Virus when she expresses her concern for Scarlet about him using himself as bait.

Yes I still her find her a bit annoying and irritating and just wish in Trap For A Rhino she hadn't appeared because that was just stupid and Harmony was written out the episode. But then again, in life we meet people who we like and don't like.

But I really wanted to see more of the other Angels. It seems at times in the series she's the only one!

There's something that always puzzles me about the angels.

In this series the characters seem to be on first name basis with each other a lot more, I don't think I've ever heard Destiny call Captain Scarlet "Captain Scarlet" it's always Paul, which in a way I think it's good that they're all on first name basis as it shows that they are friends but how come the angels never get called by their first names? Is it because their spectrum code names sound nicer than a colour so they just keep it that way?

It relegates them to background character by not having real names. Maybe Gerry would've expanded them better in series 3.

all the other angels are background characters but I think Destiny is much more than that in the new series
