More Presidents - sorry!

Off on the trail of the World Presidents again.

Does anyone know the nationality President Nikita Bandranaik? (The first World Presdient who served 3 terms of 7 years)

I haven't been able to find anything. Is it even clear whether said President is a man or a woman?
The name seems to be a fusion of Russian and South Asian, and probably derived from Nikita Krushkev and Sirimavo Bandaranaike, female Prime Min ister of Sri Lanka.
That doesn't help you at all, but it's interesting what you discover on your travels in research!

I found one picture on the net, which says it is from a TV21 comic/Lady P story, which suggests the President is male.

I agree about the derivation of the name, but it doesn't help much in pinpointing his background. I don't suppose it matters much, but I just wondered if anyone had come across any details - if they haven't I can make some up
