So, SI Special Agent Connors is a fanon character... *sigh of relief*
Yes - he is, and I hope NO-ONE thinks he's my Marty Stew *shudders*. Actually is ConnErs, but hey, that's a common enough mistake.
I kind of like the idea of Colgan might have been a SI agent of a lower level than Conners himself, but maybe it's not the point. It could have been, all of it, a simple, mindgame. Even if Colgan KNEW of the codes, the idea might simply have been to make CAPTAIN BLUE REVEAL THEM. I kind of doubt the codes would have been accurate by this point, anyway. In the event an agent of Blue's importance would have been kidnapped - and considering the content of the Mysterons threat - it would be quite possible that the codes would have been changed immediately anyway. But whether they would have be of any use for the Mysterons might be beyond the point. They would have succeeded in making Blue betray Spectrum, so that would have been kind of a success for them.

I kinda like Conners, in a really warped way, lol. He's just so wonderfully despisable. Haven't written him myself, but it's so fun reading him and squirming along with the other characters.
So no he's not Marty Stu at all, as those are wish fulfilment and therefore end up being 'perfect' (author's definition thereof).
And yes I do agree with the theory that it was all a mind game. It would probably be more of a boon for the mysterons to create distrust amongst spectrum (as they did in 'Traitor') and have them in effect lose an agent that way.

Not at all, Colonel Chris - you are quite correct. I apologise for not making my comments clear beforehand.

Sage, you LIKE Conners?!

Actually, I quite like to write about him - so I'll see if I can bring him back... soon enough!

Probably the same with everybody... if not, it's the same with me

This is possibly the same with Captain Black... not the Mysteron Agent Captain Black (in the TV series or in most of the fanfics)... he rarely shows kindness, the rest of the time, he's... mean, isolated from everyone else... actually it IS the same with the Mysteron Captain Black...

CS: Yes, it looks like it, Adam. Spectrum Intelligence must be riddled with them.
CO: Phew! Does that mean we get all our demerits cancelled? After all, the Mysterons are bound to be out to lower morale by forever putting us on unsubstantiated charges.
CW: You were caught red-handed, Captain. The demerit stands. And why aren't you on duty in the radar room?
CO (sadly): It's Captain Magenta's turn in the radar room, Colonel. It's my turn to scrub the hangar decks with a toothbrush.
CW: Well, get on with it, man. I want to see my face in those floors!
CB (aside to CS): I wonder if the colonel is a Mysteron? He's even scarier than Conners!
