I haven't seen any mentioned of characters' middle names (what they are, or indeed if they even have them) in any canon source.
Obviously being a geek I've bestowed them, and know other people have too; but yes it's pure personal fanon.

After all, Destiny and Melody were both revealed as having younger sisters not mentioned in their original biographies... although Melody's 4 older brothers all copped a mention,
Was anthing else mentioned about Melody's brothers? I've mentioned one of them in my story and I just want to check that I'm not totally re-writinh him/it. He's nameless as well:D

Any response to that is welcomed. Who knows? The Colonel could even include it in a fan-fiction challenge.

Sage Harper has stories where Captain Ochre was an old flame of Captain Grey's sister.
I have future timeline stories in which Lt Green has married Captain Blue's sister.
There are probably others - and I apologise for missing them out.

Although the idea of such a story is interesting - and it's been done before and could be done again anyway, there's no trouble with that - making it into a Challenge might prove too 'restrictive' for the writers. Adding to that - don't you think all the stories in that 'category' would be far too similar to one another, even though you change characters? Basically, it would be the same plot for all of them. That wouldn't be very original.
Challenges are set to include a large field of storytelling. You just have to check the what challenges we presently have on the website:
- Halloween (which include: the Halloween holiday itself, horror, fantastic, fantasy, anything out of the ordinary that can fall under the 'fantastic' description, if you will);
- Christmas (self explanatory - plus, Captain Scarlet's birthday stories, which is during that time!)
- Challenge of Five (any story, or series of stories based on the number five - five senses, five Angels, five Captains, five stories... five elements - that is, according to Chinese culture!)
- End Credits Challenge (based on the beautiful painting from Ron Embleton)
- Multiverse Challenges (Cross-Overs, Time Travelling, Alternate worlds and/or futures - those stories can also fall under the Halloween category).
So far that's all, but it's not to say that there won't be any other kind of challenges eventually.
