Fave Episode in Season 2
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
This time I'm doing one on Season 2.
My fave is most definitely Grey Skulls.
Cheers

Grey Skulls is my fave because it focuses mainly on a secondary captain instead of a main character, i.e Scarlet or Blue.
Ochre is also one of my fave characters, and one I would like to really know more about.
Overall this episode is interesting, differant and in places funny.

I like the idea of Mysteronising an entire town and in this episode a Druzynik gets to destroy the whole town, not once but twice. The image of the church tower crashing and spinning to the ground is memorable.
So often, NCS delivers a great build up but the endings can be somewhat 'samey' and predictable. In this episode, the second half is as good as the first. I really thought Blue had died too.

I thought Blue had died as well. The first time I watched it I was in complete shock.

I was thinking, wait, he can't die, he's like a main character. I really thought for a second they had killed off a main character because it was comming to the end of the series.

We need to see more of her.
DEFINITELY!!!
She's the type of secondary character (although I really think she is a main one), that deserves to be mentioned a lot. Lets just say, she was believable. Julia Brahms did a good job with the accent, unless she is Irish herself.

Ochre is believable, much more so than Destiny.

Destiny is the worst excuse for a main character I have ever come across.

I must say that I found it very strange that the main character of a series - whose name indeed forms the TITLE of that same series, would be regarded with such a low opinion by those who are supposed to be the fans of the same series. The guy is supposed to be the hero around which everything revolves, yet by reading some of those posts, you would think that he doesn't have any redeeming quality in him

In addition to that - Scarlet is also trying to display emotions that can also be qualified as being 'very human'. You can take your pic, but for this post, I will only take one: the capacity to love, show and show tenderness to someone of the other sex (Destiny, in most of the episodes...). Yet, that same display of human emotions - which are used by the writers to show yet again that he IS still human - or desperately tries to convince himself he is - seems to only rise criticism - and perhaps disdain?.
Perhaps it's only negative comments that we seem to notice the most, or perhaps those some negative comments are easier to come by than the positive ones?
Well, for one, I will make myself the devil's advocate - if only to offer a balance.

And again, this is not directed against anyone's comments in particular. But debates NEED to have contradictory opinions - or there won't be any debates at all!
