I assume you mean 'favourite action scene FROM any show'?
Not sure if this would count, but I have always been very fond of the opening credits to Stingray: submarines leaping out of the ocean, office blocks sinking into the ground and mechanical Terrorfish exploding on the impact of a sting missile. "Anything can happen in the next half-hour!"
Fantastic!
Have to think a bit longer about an action scene from an actual episode though...

Right on, Marion! The opening credits of Stingray is sooo cool! I think that, and Thunderbirds' opening "teasers" are the best!!

A few favourite scenes are:
The 'Mysteron' attack on Cloudbase. Captain Blue's karate chop in Lunarville 7. Stingray chasing countless Terror Fish. The Empire State Building being moved and the Crablogger, in Thunderbirds.
I think the best 'rescue' is the first one - with the Fireflash - if that helps.
They are very differant shows, so the 'action' covers a wide area.

Okaaaaaay, how about these;
In Thunderbirds' "The Perils of Penelope", Virgil's rescue of Penelope just as the Anderbad Express rushes into view. (And you abso-tively, cannot forget that steamy look they give each other on the tunnel floor!!! ).
And in Stingray, Troy's narrow escape back to Stingray from the pursuing Aquaphibians, after Lt. Fisher hears a sounding from Phones' headset. (I think it was from "An Echo Of Danger", but I won't swear to it.....can anyone confirm? )

Although I was a boy when the Thunderbirds tv series first aired in the 1960's I was completely unaware that this film, Thunderbird 6, had been made until just a few years ago.
This is strange really because I went to see the first film, Thunderbirds Are Go, at the cinema in Slough which was very near to where the Anderson studios were located. On that occasion, they had the original Thunderbirds 2 and 3 in the foyer.
Going back to the Skyship 1 action sequence, I think it is very exciting when Scott says "Dad, There's trouble ahead!" and then "It's a missile base about 5 miles east of Dover".
The way that Skyship 1 scrapes the first few antennae and then comes crashing down onto the last one is really well done with great special effects and excellent background scenery.
The disappointment for me was that they didn't create a Thunderbird 6 except to rename the Tiger Moth. I would have been very happy if, for example, the Mole had earned its stripes and become an official Thunderbird.
When you actually name your film "Thunderbird 6" then as a child (and as an adult!) I expect there to be a proper Thunderbird 6 and this (so-called) amusing idea of renaming a biplane left me very disappointed indeed.

I thought Jeff's desire for a Thunderbird six was silly - there was no one to drive/fly it for a start, and every time Brains came up with an idea, it ended up being rejected. Besides, they already had specific machines to do rescues - like the Mole and Firefly - and Thunderbirds was the name given to the transporters - if you follow me. So I thought naming the Tiger Moth 'Thunderbird Six' was a good idea and was the polite equivalent of sticking two fingers up to an unreasonable and very bossy man. Although as a child I probably wouldn't have put it quite like that...

"They did it, we're rescued."
Or Thunderbird 2 crashing in "Terror In New York City"
Fireflash landing in "trapped in the sky"
SPV ramming the tyres of Delta Tango in Winged Assassin
So many.

Thunderbirds- In Richocet when the sallelite is going to crash into the power plant
Stingray- In Master Plan the gunfight is quite good
Secret Service The car chase in the first episode is great
Fireball XL5 Space City Special's action scene at the end is very impressive compared to the rest of the series (and even in the next episode, when Space City blows up!)
I like these ones, does anyone else agree?

That was a good one!!
(Not to be nitpcky or anything, but, if the Sidewinder was upside down in the pit, why were the crew on the wall instead of on the ceiling??)
I also agree that the Mole should have been designated as "Thunderbird 6" instead of the Tiger Moth!!

Thunderbirds:
The Fireflash rescue - very dramatic
Thunderbird One being shot at in "The Uninvited" and Scott and the archologists escape from the pyramid.
Thunderbird Two being shot down and then crash landing on Tracy island from "Terror In New York City"
Also "The Sidewinder" machine going through the rainforest and then collapsing in the pit.
Stingray:
The first incident between Stingray and the Terror Fish, also the chase in the "Plant of Doom" in which Stingray jumps out of the water followed by the Terror Fish.
Also seeing Marineville under attack numerous times.
Captain Scarlet:
To many to think of at this moment.
