On the point of stupidest, I'd say Destiny (Big Suprise...), but that's because she's a bimbo and completely acts it.
I also think (although I love these two) that Ochre and Blue are intended to be 'a bit thick'. Maybe not stupid, I'd say more bit dense or dim. There is a difference

I'm not sure whether this post makes any sense but I'll post it anyway...

Destiny did have an annoying personality but I think this was partially put on as a show for Scarlet - he seemed to like it.

Scarlet Lady
* My judgement on NCS Scarlet is probably clouded by the whole him/Destiny thing. I like my 'heroes' wry and brooding, where as he seems to have become a very bland & generic.
* Well I loved OCS Blue so much that the change was hard to get over. That said he'd grown on me by season two. Quite liked his dry sense of humour.
* I was equally distraught to loose dear OCS Ochre, but purely on her own merit NCS Ochre is alright. Ditto for Green I suppose.
* I've always liked Black. He's probably the only character to have improved on the original (by virtue of just being more developed). He sort of reminds me of Simon Cowell, in a good way.
* Dr Gold isn't so much annoying as a bit worrying. Certainly wouldn't want him as my doctor.
* White's gone a bit soft overall. He had his moments but OCS White (in his snarky git glory) would still kick his ass in a fight.
* Have to agree with the general consensus that Destiny is such a Mary-Sue.
* Hmm NCS Magenta isn't too bad; but the whole Italian mobster/womaniser thing is terribly cliche.

In the end I opted for Destiny, the sorriest excuse for an Angel pilot in the whole known universe
....but gung-ho Blue was an extremely close second!

Someone voted for Green as most annoying and stupidest??!!
Since when is she stupid? I'd say she's pretty damn smart!
Sorry...biased I guess...

Its true though isn't it? Why they didn't get together is beyond me. So many flirty moments but no one made a move...tut tut. Blue isn't a very good flirter after all.

I am hoping that whoever voted for Green did so in error. Personally I thought she was one of the more interesting additions to the Scarlet Mythos. Certainly more interesting than her predecessor on OCS. (puts on suit of armour to deflect all the heavy objects hurled at me by OCS fans

I have nothing against Lady Green or Lady Ochre as characters - they both certainly outshine Dismal Destiny and - given that the other Angels are hardly mentioned enough for us to tell which is which - they have little competition from anyone else.
I just wish they'd been called something different.
It is nice to see a female captain, and one who is very much part of the team, and I have no objections to someone else manning the Comms Desk and being 'best pals' with Colonel White.
That said, I don't like either of them MORE than I like the original series characters - but then I have had almost 40 years to get used to the original ones...
