The Mysterons Vs The Daleks

No contest The Mysterons.

They could probably take a Dalek apart and put it back together under their control and use it against the other Daleks.

The Daleks have one thing the Mysterons don't have - consistency. :twisted:

None of this 'cause havoc - now let's take a break' nonsense. When they set out to destroy or enslave a planet they don't quit until the job is done ... or the Doctor saves the day.

The Daleks would not need to land, just bombard Mars and totally destroy it. Be interesting to see if the Mysterons could rebuild the entire planet after it has been reduced to dust.

The Daleks hands down. I never had a Mysterons related nightmare but woke up screaming about killer daleks quite a few times.

And the new Daleks are even more frightning than the old ones.

The threat of the Mysterons is actually quite sophisticated for a youngish audience and its a little hard to be scared of two green circles.

It's quite a fascinating idea. I get the feeling that the Daleks would be terrified once they realised the full extent of the power of the Mysterons...

Absolutely have to be the mysterons. The daleks wouldn't get a look in, the mysterons would be remote-controlling their little metal outer-bodies and have them dancing round in little green circles before they could shout exterminate!!

It is amazing just how scary something that looks like a pepper-pot can be.
In some ways not knowing what the Mysterons look like makes them scarier - especially when they might take over your nearest and dearest and you none the wiser.
But, I have to say that for me, when it comes to the 'hiding behind the sofa quotient' - the Daleks win hands down... I was surprised at just how deeply ingrained that reaction was when 'Doctor Who' started up again this year... :oops:

I cant beleve ppl are saying the darleks. There slow they cant go up stairs they cant go on carpets they look like pepper pots adn move like vacumn cleaners.

Now the Mysterons every time that organ played at the beginging of the titles and ed bishops narration about what they are adn there voices and "This is the voice of the Mysterons" always scared me when I was a kid.

they cant go up stairs

The not being able to go upstairs thing is a myth. They've always been able to...we just never got to see it until the late 80s.

Yes but I also saw those boring movies when i was younger and i saw that they couldnt climb stairs or run fast or out like that.

And in New Who they have silly baby creture in it that was peaceful and the dr didnt bother blowing it p (another reason why scarlet is better than dr who, Scarlet has a gun and kills mysterons the dr has a silly screwdriver and wants to spread peace like a hippy).
