Wish List for Third and Fourth Seasons of NCS

Ok, I'm trying to be positive here!!

There have been loads of suggestions on how the first and second season episodes could have been improved, how about putting them all together incase anyone who might have some input into the next batch is taking notice?

My main one would be more two-part episodes please. 22 minutes is fine for the kids, but not for the rest of us. There would be much more opportunity to expand and flesh out the stories.

And my other half keeps talking about it but doesn't seem to want to post the idea - what about a story arc over several episodes?

I'd also like to see more background on the characters - is there life beyond Spectrum?!

A few two parters would be nice. A death of a secondary Captain. An on going story arc would be interesting. More with the faction Mysterons. An episode played for humor. An attempt to break the Mysteron hold over Black.

Death of a secondary Captain...and then maybe a few weeks later, find out that whoever it is is now a Mysteron...

Actually...it sounds a cool idea, but who? No way for Indigo and Brown, because those guys have done nothing. We just wouldn't care if they died. Same for Magenta. That means either Grey or Ochre...or maybe one of the angels?

An episode where White is removed as head of Spectrum by the UN due to a disagreement over his actions (and they have to be his actions. A Mysteron plot framing him just wouldn't be as interesting) and replacing him with erm, Slate? Who has a much more philosophical approach to the war, but ends up cracking under pressure, and White is reinstated. Slate can then make a few cameo appearences later on as part of a special Task Force or something along those lines.

An episode where the Mysteron's existance is revealed to the entire world and shows what the effects of this knowledge has had on the population and how different cultures take it differently. Eventually Green discoveres this was mearly a Mysteron trap, and they have hijacked Skybase's communication systems to fool everyone there into thinking the secret had been revealed.

An episode where it is revealed that Grey's passion outside of work is archaeology, and focuses on him at a dig, discovering evidence the Mysterons made very limited contact with Earth around the times of the crusades.

This is the voice of the Mysterons, we know that you can hear us Colonel Chris. the plot bunnies will not leave you alone, they will steal your sanity a piece at a time until you write. You cannot escape... Surrender to the plot bunnies.

I now have several plots running round my head in addition to the ones that were already there.

I was thinking it was about time we had a good long look at Colonel White. Somethng along the lines of an episode where he has to order a Captain (NOT Scarlet) to his/her certain death and then see them Mysteronised and have to kill them all over again but only after the Mysteron plan has succeed. I'd like to see how he would react to that knowing his own actions allowed the Mysterons to win.

I'd also like to see how Col White would react if he was forced into a close quarters/life or death situation with a female office he was quite attracted too - would he act on his feelings or would he hold back.

Or how about his reaction to a new female Lt Green posted to ops on the death of the first male Lt Green...

Or the one about Col White being stalked through a deserted Cloudbase by a Mysteron assassin...

Or the one in which Col White wakes up in a prison to be told there is peace between Earth and the Mysterons and his permanet incarceration was the price that was paid...

I'd like to see one where:

Captain Scarlet is investigating strange occurrences at a lab experimenting in time displacement theory. After an accident (involving a Mysteron replicant, naturally... ) where Scarlet is killed when he falls into an open time-gate, he wakes up in an unknown location.

Our hero is caught unawares by a haggard and non-uniformed Captain Blue, who attacks him. He finds out that he has slipped into a parallel universe where the Mysteronised Scarlet was never killed and managed to crash Skybase after all. Although the craft was crippled, some key staff have survived (White is dead and so are Ochre and Harmony) but are working from a ground-based facility. Meanwhile, the alternative Scarlet has become the leader of an uber-terrorist cell that's really wreaking havoc upon the Earth's defences.

The real Scarlet has a REALLY hard time explaining to Blue who he is and how he got there, as you'd expect but somehow manages it and formulates a plan to capture or eliminate the alternative Scarlet. Everything turns out for the best when our hero hurls his doppelganger over a cliff (what else? )and kills him but not before being mortally injured himself. He urges Blue to keep up the fight before dying and waking up back in his own world.

The twist in the tale of course, is that by killing the alternative Scarlet in the parallel universe, the Mysterons trigger the alternative Black's revival.... but now there's no Scarlet to stop him....

Some of these Ideas seem to belong on an episode of Star Trek not NCS.

Captain Blue is ordered to go to an Anger Management class after crashing a Rhino through a supermarket. Little does Blue know, the instructor is a Mysteron agent set to make Blue even more angry and mean. Blue becomes more angry and dangerous and Spectrum start to think that he may be under Mysteron influenece. Scarlet investigates and uncovers the Mysteron plot.

I wish that Colonel White would wake up to find that the NCS Universe is all some sort of weird nightmare and find himself safe and sound in his own quarters on Cloudbase and seasons 3 & 4 & 5 (ad infinitum) can all be about OCS....

That would be nice but I can't imagine Captain Blue without Ed Bishop, so regretfully I have to say I'd rather not see any more series. Best to leave any new adventures to fan fiction I think - some of the plots in NCS were very bland indeed.

How about a story about a Mysteron visit to Earth at some point in her past. Could explain Da Vinci's inventiions or the Easter Island statues (makes a change from the pyramids...), or even the extinction of the dinosaurs!

I'd like every episode to have tracks for every vehicle...

How about a story where an eminent scientist gets kidnapped by Black, who hold his family hostage so forcing the scientist to make some evil potion that will make humans go mad and turn on each other. While working for Black the scientist learns a lot about the Mysterons, and creates a serum which once administered can block the mysterons' power so preventing them taking over people. He manages to get a message to Spectrum and says he will hand over the formula, but first Scarlet has to administer it to the scientists family so he knows they are safe.

Black of course finds out, and has a fight with Scarlet at the hostages' house, they get away but Scarlet gets injected himself and 'dies'. Black goes back to the research lab and destroys it with the formula and the scientist still inside.
