Trap for a Rhino
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
I do have a question on the DVD quality - during certain fast moving shots (the view out the window of a vehicle for example) the animation at times looks like bad video - sort of like pixelation but it is only for the fast moving background. I noticed in several times so far including this episode. Anyone know what it is or what causes this?

Story highlight - Harmony's interaction with the cadet, Scarlet and Destiny trying to stop the Rhino.

Harmony is tied up in the granny's bedroom. The granny leaves, and after a quick look back at Harmony, Johnson leaves too. For some reason, you can see the granny's shadow through the wall...are they made of paper?
Once Johnsons stolen the Rhino, Scarlet runs back to get the Hummingbird, and we 'bom bom tiddly bom bom' to the next scene as he does...but each time we 'bom' back to him, it's clearly the exact same footage of him running each time, and he's not getting anywhere.

Actually I've noticed that on a number of episodes. I gather it's a 'problem' (as Aegis as mentioned) of only rendering what's necessary, whereas on film, shots would always have a lead-in and lead-out, over-running by several seconds. Obviously some of the renders have been deliberately 'over-run' for this, but I sometimes wonder if the 'bom bom tiddly bom bom' is decided on at editing, rather than signified in the script - so a scene gets repeated like this...

We 'bom bom tiddly bom bom bom' to a shot of the New York science thingy building, wherever Blue and Ochre were, but once the boms have stopped, we're suddenly panning from the left until we get to the shot that we started with.
There's another one in "Homecoming", after Scarlet says that "Serena could be in trouble - we all could be". During the bom boms, Scarlet's head looks like it's set on a spring, it's wobbling around that much!
