It’s worth noting, that there is only one time where we see any characters in the cabin. In all of the other shots using a S.P.J. only the cockpit is occupied and usually by Scarlet and Blue.

Most of the other times we see Colonel White in Observation tube, he is generally looking back into the Control Room.

I guess that that makes the access to it nice and easy, when the S.P.V is open.

It’s the mineral that Hotspot Tower was mining.
(I do wonder how the power got to the tower once Scarlet had restored it. Because -according to the tower’s control officer- the power lines from Eskimo Booster Station were above the roadway on the bridge, which was destroyed when the sea froze.)
