With the benefit of hindsight it's not too difficult to see why the series was never made: John and Julie doubtless received better offers to move to Hollywood and appear in those two well-known puppet action shows "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Bionic Woman" respectively, the starring roles of which they appear to have adopted without any obvious change in character or acting prowess.

It was interesting to see but left me wondering what were they were thinking about filing puppets in the Mediterranean! Quirky stuff but I couldn't say it had the legs for a series.

'Julie' sounds just like Lady Penelope and 'John' like Scott Tracy... odd that.

I love the fact that every time the miniaturised John and Julie drive that very bright red car around, theres no-one on the streets to see them.
