Question: Captain Grey's background?

This subject in the Q & A forum is to ask a question of any members who can answer it. That question is this.

"What is the known history of Captain Grey, according to canon, AND NOT AS SUPPLEMENTED BY fanon, before he joined the Spectrum Organization?" :?:

The CS annual 1967 says:

Codenamed Captain Grey, Bradley Holden is the real name of this Spectrum agent who was born in Chicago on March 4, 2033.
Educated at the World Naval Academy at San Diego, Grey gained degrees in navigation, aqua-technology and computer control. On graduating he immediately enrolled in the submarine service of the World Navy and was stationed at Sydney, Australia.
Trained as an officer and given command of a World Navy submarine.
On several assignments Grey's brilliant tactics, cool reaction in tight situations, tremendous valour, quick thinking and alertness saved the lives of his crew and their submarine falling into enemy hands.
With the coming of the WASPS, Grey was transferred and promoted to Security Commander of the new organisation. He commanded the prototype sub which became Stingray. His daring campaigns against threatening underwater enemies were far greater than those of his successor, Troy Tempest.
2 years later his brilliant career attracted the attention of Spectrum.

Most of the information found on the page Marion provided are from official sources. What was not taken from official source, or inspired by fanon, is clearly mentioned as such, so that people would know the difference between the two.
