What TV Programmes Would They Watch?
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
I'm not one for sports, but have to do some research into American ones. Ochre informs me that he's taken to them and has a complex set of allegances.
Scarlet's far easier to work with; he's a straightforward patriot, and likes arsenal because it's his colour. Would have him suppourt our local team, but it was too big a suspension of disbelief.

I've given this some thought,
I think Dr Gold might watch forensics shows, y'know after what happened in the episode Rat Trap.

IMO I doubt that. From what I've seen people who are "experts" in a certain field tend to shy away from any TV versions of their field, because the show doesn't always "get it right." Also, even the non-experts do that sort of thing all day long at their job, so they usually prefer to get away from it for a while...
That being said, I DO, however, know of people working in a field, e.g. medicine, sitting around and nit-picking a TV show like ER simply BECAUSE of the mistakes.

Something tells me Dr Gold wouldn't watch TV because Captain scarlet is more interesting.

I can imagine him criticising how 'real' the shows are/look. And maybe complaining that the copper/detective should've done something differently to what they did in the show.... etc.
But I can imagine Magenta (probably OCS) doing the same too

How true. A recent TV series in Oz came under such intense criticism and derision by real experts in the field that in-house discussion board posts became quite heated. In the end, talk about the series was banned by management!
However, Mary’s earlier para is also quite valid. I would also suspect that after realising that the TV series was a dead loss, they might also cease watching it.

I (sort of) said that in a previous post

But I've just had another think. Symphony would probably watch whatever was on at the time or whatever her teammates were watching.

As for the Angels, well, they'll be watching the fashion channel for new ideas and, perhaps, the latest romantic blockbuster... there are so many handsome young men in films these days that there is hardly time to watch them all..
