Hi' fellow Spectrum members"

first off let me say' that i have bin and still am on some other forms .
and all of you here at Spectrum Headquarters are topnotch every one gets along .

and Sher's there knowledge of shows openly so i feel inclined to post this for some group feed back :grin:

i have finally maid up my mind to do a Captain Scarlet outfit for this Halloween

.
at this time i am really geared up to do the old Captain Scarlet uniform as i know it very well.

also i do not have any new Captain Scarlet books or DVDs yet for a good reference :cry:

of the new Captain Scarlet uniform but i know that i could find some if i had to :roll:

the question i put to you my fellow Spectrum members is which one do you think
would go over better".

some back ground for you to work with is this" i will be going as Captain Scarlet and my buddy will be going as Captain Blue.

there is also a 60% chance as of now that my wife will be going as one of the angels.

we will be going to our annual Halloween party were 40% of the people there know Captain Scarlet.

then we will be wearing them to a con' in November were there are some fan's of doctor who and space 1999.

that are always there with there club tables so I'm pretty sure we will get some good nods' from them :wink:

my thing is if i do classic CS if people don't know who i am fine But if i do the new CS.
i really don't want some one telling me I'm missing stuff on are uniforms because they think im classic CS :shock:

this mite sound like a small thing but i have had it happen before with past costumes :cry:

and im just looking to have a good time so any and all input from the group would be great. :wink:

To be honest, the classic Spectrum uniform is so iconic in basic form, I'd stick with that. The NCS isn't too far removed but simplified and more figure hugging (a virtue of the CGI, one would guess).

The Angels are a different matter though...

I agree, the new uniforms do make them look more shapely!

I will admit though, Halloween isn't like what it used to be when I was growing up.....even the candy was much better back then, but I'll save that topic for another time, perhaps!

i made one once years ago!---------the hat is the hardest bit to make to be honest, the rest is simple-ish if you can get the bits.
